By burial and utilization of industrial waste is like an oil emulsion. Oil emulsion is like small weighted oil drops in water. Ingress of oil in soil causes harmful ecological consequences. Measuring of the oil content in water is an actual task. For determining of the oil content in water different methods are applied. The main weak point of all methods is impossibility to automatize measuring process of the oil content in water. One of perspective methods is ultrasonic method, which includes sending ultrasonic impulses in water with oil drops and receiving of ultrasonic impulses from oil drops. Since oil drops dimensions vary from 1 to 4 micrometers and speed of ultrasonic impulses spreading in water is 1,5·106 mm/s, for certain oil drops detection with size about 1 micrometer, a sending of ultrasonic impulses at 750 MHz frequency is needed. The control realization on 750 MHz frequencies represents many difficulties. For ultrasonic control method realization a variant using more lower frequencies was considered, by which ultrasonic signal fading on the distances about 50–100 mm is small. The oil drops in water are like spherical reflectors. A dependence of signal amplitude from sphere volume is linear. So, the amplitude of signal reflected from oil drop is directly proportional to volume of drop, when drops radius much more lower of wavelength. It allows using ultrasonic method for measuring of the oil content in water.
