Results of infrasonic and sonar measurements made by the Ocean Acoustics Noise Laboratory's freely drifting and bottom-mounted unique telemetric combined systems are presented. Field deployments reported were performed in the Pacific and Indian Oceans in 1978 to 1998. The monograph is focused on the ratio of the coherent and diffusive components in underwater ambient noise; interaction between crossing ambient noise and tone or broadband signal energy fluxes; reverberation being observed in the energy flux; connection between the surface roughness direction and strength and the resultant horizontal dynamic noise projection; as well as combined telemetric systems noise immunity.
