The modulator was described applied to polarization measurements. The modulator was made of melted quartz resonating at the frequencies from 55 up to 60 kHz, the resonance quality factor was of 103–104. The oscillations were excited by piezoceramic components master oscillator supplied. The modulation amplitude was controlled by analogous signal or digital code. The light beam diameter did not exceed 10 mm.

D'yachko A.N., Melikhov S.V., Titov A.A. «Broadband power amplifier for acoustic-optical systems» Приборы и техника эксперимента, 34, № 2, с. 111-112 (1991)

The circuit for the amplifier with output power exceeding the power delivered to separate transistors was described. It was possible due to the application of superbroadband adder. The specifications of the amplifier were the following ones: working frequency range 150 kHz–230 MHz; amplification factor 45 DB; output power 25 W; power demand 250 W. To provide the optimum load impedance of channel amplifier output transistors the transformers with transformation factor 1:4 were connected between channel amplifiers outputs and adder.

The installation was described permitting to study accumulation and relaxation processes of space change and electric field connected with it. The spatial resolution of the installation when using OGM-20 laser was ≈100 μm for polymethylmethacrylate samples. The spatial resolution can be reached to several micrometers due to nanosecond LP-3 lasers, providing the formation in solid state media of acoustic signals of the length up to several nanoseconds and below. In connection with it the investigation of thin (tens-hundreds micrometers) dielectric and polymer films is possible.

The developed filters based on acoustic waves was designed for operating in radioreceiver input circuits in the range of short and ultra-short waves, in portable and moving receivers-transmitters, frequency synthesizers, intermediate frequency tracts of domestic receivers. The specific feature of filters was the receiving of active input impedances in transmission band without using matching LC-components. It was reached by selection for piezoelectric prescribed section of certain number of electrode couples in input and output converters.
